Neuroradiologists have completed one to two years of additional training after radiology residency. Neuroradiologists specialize in imaging of the brain, neck, face and spine. They are expert at using x-rays, CT and MRI to evaluate these structures. Neuroradiologists also perform invasive procedures such as angiography, lumbar punctures, diskograms and pain relief procedures.
